This is WHY I put a new estart motor in my OLD 07 KTM which was one inch lower stock has the X busing and has been lowered another inch in the suspension.

The X-Bushing is about $110 and is a pain to install but doesn't cost you any lost travel, etc. (just a little ground clearance)

The lower seat works for about an inch but ain't great for sitting on and costs no suspension travel or ground clearance.

Internal lowering of the suspension by any suspension guy (like ASR or WER) is the only answer and it costs $ and travel and ground clearance. IF you need suspension tuning done it can be done at the same time for only a few additonal $.

Back off the springs and put some lead in your gut like me. No problem squatting the bike down so I can touch :harhar:
Not being able to touch makes you a better rider :amazon: , just stand and balance more.

Bring it on over to DSA and we can lower it while doing a revalve and installing the correct springs. I honestly wouldn't go more than 3 inches do to the loss of travel that comes along with lowering it internally.

Thanks for all the information I'm going to ride it for a while to figure out how much I really need it lowered.

That will help decide what I do to it. Yes its a 2013 xc-w
