I agree. But if I can get the stars to align right, lets get her hanging off the hack as soon as it gets warm this spring!

well behaved dogs are invited. dogs that like to fight are not welcome. there will be plenty of dogs there

this private property has a gate by the main house. once thru the gate we enter deep into the property. the gate code is closely guarded. and we have to keep gate traffic to a minimum and at certain hours so as not to disrupt the landowners life. we have been doing this since 2002 and have had our share of issues over the years. a rule list has evolved. it is not as hard as it sounds. we also take a collection for the property owner (george).

THE RULES

Gate will be open-able at specified times. you will not wait at the gate. you will wait somewhere else and come down the road within the allotted time frames.
the new gate fee is $20 per adult and $5 per child. this covers you for the trip. Any person thru the yellow gate is subject to this fee. The fee will be collected at the gate. bring exact change.
there will be NO gate traffic between 10pm and 7am except emergencies.
everyone that enters the property signs a release.
absolutely no one can approach the house or barn except to shop at the antique shop. all vehicles must be brought in at least to the first parking area.

11:00 t0 11:20 am

5:00 to 5:20 pm
7:00 to 7:20 pm
9:00 to 9:20 pm

Saturday
8:00 to 8:20 am
9:00 to 9:20 am

6:00 to 6:20 pm

Sunday
Can leave any time

A volunteer will go out on Sat and Sun morning for ice, beer, cigarettes, etc.


also, it goes without saying that we bring out whatever we bring in. (if we cant burn it up). keep this in mind when shopping. cans are lighter. plastic burns. we try to stay away from the gate all weekend. there are alternate routes in for adventure bikes with plates so they can come and go as they please.

That all sounds reasonable. The landowner is allowing the festivities to happen, he shouldn't have to be bothered.
