Too far east? :harhar: Go on adv. to the tracks and gps section, there is a guy sn/ intothenew that did a really good job mapping out a route for the twvt. He'll send you the file..there's a lot more stuff he mapped out actually going up into oakland. Probably stuff you know about, but he does a really good job nevertheless.

Well, yes, too far east, only because there is so much good riding around here, it is hard to even scrape the surface of what I want to do locally. :deal:

I have ridden with intothenew. He and his crew were our neighbors at Eastern Rendezvous 2008. I will have to check out the GPS section. Can I view the files as maps with the appropriate software? I am not a GPS guy.

RRob and I were always trying to explore further and deeper into the terrain out here. RRob had some pretty awesome dirt road routes south and east of here. I think both of us were looking forward to finding more terrain that required knobbies (as opposed to optional). Unfortunately, my riding partner has gone missing. Hopefully he will reemerge sooner rather than later.

If you guys find some routes you want to try out this way, bring your stuff out for the weekend, or middle of the week, whatever works, let's go explore. I am not into the saddlebags and sleeping on the ground thing, but I will ride almost anything you point me towards, long as it is not boring. Last new guy I had out here kept needing a break because there were so many curves, his head was spinning.

Holy Sh*t at the gate go around on the big bikes! Dayum! LOL

I have to say, though, if it were sunny and dry, that would be one helluva pretty ride through there. It's a shame it's not public.
