Bought this bike a couple years ago, had big plans but the hassle of having to take it out of DC to ride proved too much. Moving overseas this summer, so now it really has go.
Completely took it apart and replaced everything that was not in good shape. Still new tires, new master brake cylinder, seals, all fresh fluids, rebuild front wheel with new spokes, clean/clear head pipe and exhaust,...
Polished the whole frame but have the OEM sticker set so you make it stock again.
There's a crack in the rear fender from overextension but it's still functional.
Hardly ran in the last couple years, but rebuilt and cleaned the carb last year and now it started right up.
Have a box of miscellaneous spare parts that comes with it and the invoice of Munsters (NL) of all the gaskets, seals and parts replaced.
No title, comes with a bill of sale.
Located in DC, can help with transportation if needed.
Price $2300 OBO

Re: FS: Beta Rev3 270 2006
Price drop $1800
Re: FS: Beta Rev3 270 2006
That is a good deal. Think I owned 3 or 4 of the Beta Rev3 over the years. Built like a tank...no stronger trials frame ever made. As a 6 speed they worked well for trail duty also. Frame - tank holds more fuel than current bikes so you had a modest travel range. Left hand kick was a fail for some but no big deal. If a dues paid Del Val member you could post there....trials bike owners seem to be growing in that group. Also US trials bikes for sale is a good location.

For who thinks there must be something wrong with this bike that nobody bites, so far 0 people contacted me, let alone made an offer

Re: FS: Beta Rev3 270 2006
I can't believe no one is jumping on this. I've pretty much wised up to the bodily injuries I can experience on a trials bike and even I'm tempted to just fart around with it. Somebody please buy this thing so I can stop thinking about it.
There are seven days in a week. Someday is not one of them.
Re: FS: Beta Rev3 270 2006
It is not you or the bike, the general market is just flat. Summer family vacation time. Our event last weekend had 35 riders each day and we normally have 75+. I would take it just as a buddy bike but just added a 4 stroke Beta so do not need any more toys to wrench on for others to use. Do you have posted anywhere else as DAMN is not strong with trials riders.heydek wrote: Wed Jul 31, 2024 5:39 pm $1000 for who wants it before 8/8, if not it goes in my shipping container overseas.

Re: FS: Beta Rev3 270 2006
Sold. I'll take it for a Grand.
I live in the Gettysburg area, driving to DC isn't on the top of my list of fun times. Maybe meet somewhere in the middle?
