Looks like the WATR Fall Trail Ride at the Eagle Bay property (King George VA) is scheduled for Nov.27 (rain date Dec.04) No other details at this time.
You do NOT have to be a WATR member to attend and ride.

Eagle Bay is a great place for riders of all skill level. It is a good place for beginners to get some seat time on stuff that won't kill them or scare the pants off them but still fun as hell for the fast guys if you just wick it up.

Mrs SJ, SJ-jr and SJ will be there. Hoping for nice weather!

Not much on the website about it, but it is a great camp and ride event for families and newbies like SJ said. I'll be there, always a fun weekend to ride and party with friends.

For the families, there will be a small grass track for the pee wees that is located right in the field by the parking. There is the short ~2mile loop for folks so kids that have more skill have a trail section they can ride and then the big loop which is ~20 miles and is fast, flowing and easy. No rocks, no logs, just open flowing trail. The short loop and pee wee track are great places for kids and newbies to have a safe place to ride close to where you base out of. There are plenty of places on the small loop where trials guys could have fun too! There are some ditches and other stuff you could make sections out of for practice and such. last spring trail ride, I was riding the pee wee loop on the Emountain bike and had a blast-a little something for everybody

FWIW, the big loop is ~12mi. There is a bail out to get back to the trucks about half way around.

Just ordered one of those grill grates for my black stone I’m dying to try out. Beer brats in tow! Be happy to put some sear marks on your fish though
