Torres at Erzberg on the 700
He took his Tenere to Erzberg and finished 77 out of 500-I used to think Graham Jarvis was the all time off road badass, but this guy! He is a frakin monster on that thing-
short video to show some of the hard stuff in the trees
Long video from his camera-the start is insane

I watched about 30 minutes of that - intense! I can't imagine the physical conditioning of these guys much less wrestling a T700 through it.

Re: Torres at Erzberg on the 700
I watched the whole thing. Later on he gets behind a guy on a smoker who is stuck, tired and takes his helmet off, Pol starts screaming at the guy to not leave his bike in the trail and the guy sits down. After Pol is yelling at him to move his bike, the guy try's to move the bike, but can't. He falls down. Pol gets pissed, goes and takes the guys bike, rides it through the obstacle, then gets back on his 700 and rides on through. It was a tough ball buster section. Yeah, his fitness and strength (as well as talent) are incredible.

That's pretty amazing to watch.
The one you or I could buy. I seriously doubt his is anywhere near that weight. Would be neat to know the true figure and all the little tricks they used to achieve the result. If I had to guess, one might be able to remove 100#+ with a big enough budget.

Yes, I'm sure its WAY lighter than 452lbs. But still, riding something north of 350lbs in crazy conditions!smdub wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 9:05 amThat's pretty amazing to watch. The one you or I could buy. And I used to be impressed with myself riding my DR650 in rough conditions...
