Emmitsburg Ride, 12/18

Im heading up today and spending the night. Ill be there in the morning.

Weather is looking good. Will probably rain overnight but should be clear tomorrow and in the 40’s.

Sonny will kindly be cooking up burgers for us!

I have a loop marked out. Guys should be able to follow it and be able to ride w/ out me leading.
I still have the other trails that I will need to lead rides on.

I think most of you know where to park. You wont see my van (Its up on other side of property).

We had a great ride with good weather. The rains came thru during the night, so while conditions were a little slick, it could have been worse.

This was probably the best provisioned day ride Ive been on. Kevin showed up with donuts and a big thing of coffee. Then later Sonny laid out a professional lunch, burgers were great. He has a nice kitchen setup w/his jeep.

I think my marked out loop worked well. I dont think anyone got lost.

I had a great time riding with everyone today and putting some faces to screen names. Definitely looking forward to getting out there again.

Marking out the loops was a great idea... some of us may have benefited more than others. I don't think I got lost once even with the heavy covering of leaves.
