On Thursday of this week I have a free day. Im heading up to the Emmitsburg property. I do have at least one or two spots trees to cut/clear a trail. (And maybe more stuff is down since last time?)

If you want to help me cut a few things show up around 0930. If you’d prefer not to be drafted into trailwork show up after 1000.

Getting the trails cleaned up. Next time you come will be nice and clear for you, basically a groomed road

We had a nice ride today. The rains didnt come till later. Nobody got wet (unless they fell in the creek)

New guy Calvin showed up early and helped me chainsaw a few things. Had a couple other new guys, Steve and Phil. Everyone did well riding on heavy layers of leaves.

You dont need the latest/greatest bikes to have fun.

These old bikes have lower seat heights and they make good traction.

Yes the thumpers ruled the day, clawing traction through the leaves. I might have to bring out the ttr 250 next time. Sur ron just doesnt like staying on line up steep loose rock chunks. thanks bucho
