Sorry to hear that, sucks for sure. My old house in Eastport would flood the basement with rain like we got yesterday and the sump pumps could not keep up. I was just watching some of the tornado video's from annapolis yesterday, it was pretty bad on West street where it touched down. Hopefully your damage is more of a PIA than permanent.

Came home to 3" in the basement, sump pump float did not cycle. Guess what is getting replaced.

Sorry to hear that Bruce. Cleaning up water damage just sucks and is always more involved than I think. As Bill said, we had a tornado rip through Annapolis yesterday that caused a lot of damage.
Million dollar home in South River Colony:
They found the entire roof of that house dumped in the South River High School stadium bleachers.
Another house in the same neighborhood:
We have a number of friends in that community that were spared this kind of damage. I can't even image coming home from work and finding my home looking like that.

I can't complain. We still have the upper level to live in. Got a disaster response company coming sometime to help with water evacuation and drying out. And of course mold mitigation. It's waaay too much work for me. Idk what to do next. After we pay for the clean up, rebuilding may be a while. Ohh, and I need to dig up the concrete and install drain tile and a mega sump pump. I may have sell a toy or two. But, we still have a roof over our heads

If you need some labor help, moving or helping you carry stuff etc., just say the word. If you need any thing to make life a little easier in the house, again, say the word. We all have stuff laying around we don't need right now that might help you and you should not go buy stuff if we have it. Just email or text or whatever I can load up the van and head up-
