I had one in Kauai, left hand kicker and you had to manually set TDC to start/kick it. If you don't get TDC set up just right, and give her a righteous kick, that motor will fire up and the kicker will smack your foot/heel and hurt like a bitch! But it was a torque monster and alot of fun on back roads.

Glad you guys talked me out of it. I was about to be pissed that I just bought a new engine for my DRZ. :)
I'm not even sure I could handle a left hand kick. That's a lot of years of experience to have to learn to kick with the other leg.
