I have noticed quite a few 2018/19 Husky and
KTM TPI BIKES FOR SALE WITH LOW HOURS/MILES. Is there some issue that is happening?
There's your problem right there!
You know I have thrown my KTM into trees, on rocks, into creeks, & down Colorado rockslides unmercifully for 165 hours & the only thing I have needed to do to it is oil, brakes, tires & a chain.
Still has the factory plastics & top end.... Just sayin

So yeah, there is a little controversy with them, just google KTM TPI problems. Some of the issues sound legit but I suspect some of it is also Haters just being haters.

I finally got the suspension done last fall and I am a LOT happier with it. Jacob should ride it again and I would be curious of what he thinks of it now. Hopefully with that job he still finds some time to hang out with the old guys this summer.

Got a lengthy email from a owner who saw my post. He said it was related to the ECU and crappy mapping. By the time he got it right, he ended up spending more than just a jet kit! I am sure they are great when set up correctly, but I'll stay with a Lectron carb, SX ignition and a Hi-Comp head! That and not all of the electronics that come with a TPI. I can McGyver my shit out of the woods, but when TPI or EFI goes south, well have a nice hike!
Lots of cool bikes---
