FRO is great, I always had a very good time out riding cool single track and exploring.
I just wish they would sell day passes or the year pass would be cheaper. The two years I had a pass I never made it out there enough to justify the cost.

Re: WATR Members
I'm with you Phil. That said, I'm trying out a new approach to my leave next year. Instead of hanging on to it and taking off a week or two at a time I'm going to take a day off about every two weeks. I'm going to try to ride most of those days. Maybe I'll ride enough to make a year pass worthwhile.
I've only done 2 'real' dirt rides this year... Sucks...

Re: WATR Members
Phil (and others),
I bought a FRO pass at the Dirty Santa. They sold them at $125 during the event. I figure with Wingfixer's odd schedule and that he lives really close to me when he's on this coast that I can make it up there 5 times or more to justify the cost. We also learned that the hotel we stayed in has a deal for guys riding the coal mines in the area at $85/night. Plus there's now camping at FRO.
If other people who have week days off also wanted to make a trip up there to ride, I bet we could get our use out of a permit instead of just doing weekends.

So if I get another permit we can get some rides in? I think I was up there 4 or 5 times this year.

Your pass is good now, right. You gonna try to get up there before the snow?

Re: WATR Members
They made it sound like it was only good starting January 1.

You'll know when you get your pass in the mail. Last year it had 2017/2018 stamped on it. And I thought they were going to a 12 month thing instead of Jan to Dec.juddspaintballs wrote: ↑Mon Dec 03, 2018 8:47 pmThey made it sound like it was only good starting January 1.

Re: WATR Members
I got my pass in person at the event. It's labeled "2019."
I actually prefer it being Jan 1-Dec 31 instead of the 12 month thing. So what if I miss 3 weeks of riding this month? It'll be good for the period between Dirty Santa and Jan 1 next year.
