March 24/25th

Post by Nobody » Mon Mar 19, 2018 7:43 pm

I'd like to go ride this weekend. Weather seems to be fine on Sa, not so much on Su. I'm thinking the Cove, maybe Taskers if they are open. Most likely Saturday.
Anyone else?

If there's any ride happening somewhere else, I'd go to join too.

Was not really ready for another race, but if Taskers will still be closed and there's no rides, I'll consider.
Is anyone participating?

I believe the call on Taskers was they are going to postpone opening until after this storm rolls through and someone/WATR can go back out again and check the trails for more downed trees.

Rocket is always an option. Rode there Sunday and the harescramble trail is clear and in good shape.

Maybe next time. I need to get on the ball and put my bike back together. After nearly running my oil injection dry a couple times I'm going back to premix. I don't seem to responsible enough to keep the reservoir full and, besides, some of the stories on issues have made me a bit nervous.

I've been bike shopping lately and Beta is at the top of the list, but as a Race Edition so I dont have to deal with the OI. Mixing isn't hard and not worth the cost of failure IMO.

Thank you. Found it. But if I ride alone, I'll choose Taskers or Cove over it due to shorter drive to them. Don't know anything closer to DC.
