Time to sell the 510. If anyone is interested let me know. Haven't been active in the scene for a while so I don't know what the fair sale prices are. I'm thinking $1800? 2006 te510. Recluse pro clutch, and a few other little goodies. She has a clean MD street tite. Dash speedometer / display cuts in and out, probably a wire but I never cared so I never looked into it. Rear turn signals removed but wires still there. Runs great, needs a bath. She shows her use.

Hey Grady, sorry to see you selling your bikes but I can understand that when they are being ridden and are just sitting. If I know anybody Ill send them your way.

Bikes and riding will always be there in the future. Hope you can come back and play at some point.

How are these for brief highway stints? Would my wife notice another bike in the garage?

Plug for a solid runner. Had a blast with it at the Shen 500.

I still have the 610 and although in pieces right now, I'd like to get it back together again. I have such a love hate relationship with the 610, I'm not ready to let it go yet.

I think I remember some of that from the early days of DAMN. I only rode your 610 once and while I dont have issues with kickstarting a bike. That funky left side kick gave me fits.

I have mental images of Grady, deep in the Pine Barrons, hunched over low hanging limbs kicking his heart out. :lol2:

Or, changing the engine out in the camp at Greenridge....Mrs. Grady earned saint status for that one!

I have said many times over I should have kept that bike . I loved it in the mountains it was a great dualsport bike . The starting drill had to be followed to a T ,cold motor choke on ,no hand on throttle , just past TDC , kicker at top of stroke ,key on and kick all the way through and don't let that kicker come up until it started or stopped spinning , should fire up . I always found when it got hard to start that the valves needed to be adjusted . I still think I liked that better than my TE510, the motor was a torque monster .Good luck with the 510 sale .
