Riding Shade this Saturday 3/12.
Running a loop and cutting out trees down from winter storms...
Following weekend R&T club is scheduled to be riding Shade and I want to make an effort to have trail open.

Wingfixer and I are planning on hitting Shade on Sunday 3/20. Someone is picking up a new Beta and wants to go "break" it in real proper. You and anyone else are welcome to join us. We have no affiliation with R & T but appreciate Boom-Boom's efforts none the less.

I'm taking my son to Breezewood that weekend. I'll call this the Greenbrier Whimp Out ride. If all goes well wheels up at 0900

Calling a ride at Shade vs riding sand a "wimp out ride"....I think you might have bounced off a few too many rocks or are just :screwy:

A bit rainy but all in all a good day you have to watch back to back...

I'm pretty hyped to get out there saturday with folks who know where they're going (of course, no knock on anyone I've been out there with - I'm pretty directionally impaired myself). I wish I could stay for sunday too... If anyone else is gonna be out there saturday I should have my DAMN jersey on.

Print out the map and take with you.
Not that complicated to get around and the trails have traffic now so easier to see.
The easier way to ride if to go clockwise starting from the left / north side of the parking area. This allows you to go down Michel (log slide trail) and also downhill on the areas they mark as expert.
