I'm in, I'll be hauling my bike up. I have an extra spot in the truck bed.

I decided to trailer up, and park at the ranger station.

I'll bring the gas 2-burner stove I mentioned.

Are you talking about next Saturday or the campout? Did you get the knobbies mounted?

Accuweather looks good. Got a serious knobbie on the rear. Plan on trailering in & park at the ranger station.

My rear (tire) is almost at the replacement point. The treat bars aren't showing yet but it is close! I've never been to GR, will I be able to get by until my new tires show up? I'm getting IRC GP-1s.

If it is dry, you will be fine. If it is wet and slippery, you will wish you had a real knobby on there, front and rear. Last year the place was really dry, all year. It will be interesting to see if it has gotten enough moisture this winter to produce loamy conditions. Loamy is rare, but definitely the best. :rickey:

FWIW I have always used Pirelli MT 21 tires. There aren't the best knobbies in the mud, but in drier conditions they are great, and they work pretty good on the street too. They are much better off road than 50/50 DP tires.
