Tire thread

Post by juddspaintballs » Sun May 17, 2015 8:53 pm

I'm looking for tire opinions.

I want general purpose dirt tires that do OK in rocks. I'm not all that thrilled with the Mountain Hybrid when it comes to mud, loose dirt, and wet rocks. It does roots, hard pack, and dry rocks quite well.

I own a KLR, so I'm cheap, but I also don't want to have to change out tires every weekend. Make some suggestions, preferably something I can order from RMATV or Revzilla.

Looking mostly for a rear, but I'll need front suggestions too. I wouldn't say I'm displeased with the K760 on the front, but I will need to replace it sometime and I want to try something else.

Pirelli XC-mid hards work pretty well and seem to last a reasonable amount of time for me.

Prices aren't too bad on them. Oddly, the front is $2 more than the rear.
