To drag off topic a little -
It was about 9 degrees in Fredneck when I left for work this AM at 5-ish. The wind made it about Zero, I think. Then add in the 75mph wind-chill I added on top of that for 57 miles down I-70.

Observations:
1. Stupid heated jackets are meaningless below a particular temparature.
2. Stupid heavy gloves would be just as effective in a tankbag as they are on hands at that same temp.
3. It was way too colf to be riding around taking pics if you didn't need to.

For this 3rd note, I give you much credit for doing so anyway!

I don't blame you at all for taking the bike w/ a fairing in fraggin cold weather. I bought an old school beater Connie for commuting in all weather. I really need to put heated grips on that thing.
I didn't know the Rudy's place was that close!

New DAMN tag

Post by Wingfixer » Tue Dec 23, 2008 1:45 pm

Clues:

1) The bike, I obviously didn't venture very far from my house today, 20* when this was taken
2) This lodge shares its name with the State Park it is found in that also shares its name with the Ridge running through the park.
3) There was a ship with the same name that served in the Korean War USS ________ (AO-52)

That should be plenty to Google up!

Happy tagging!

I know where it is, but I am 165 miles from a bike. The tag is a fair ways from my house too.

TyMarp?

Anyone up for Green Ridge on Wednesday? A plated bike could grab the tag while out there.
