Team - the DNR is seeking input on the draft Land Preservation & Recreation Plan

See http://news.maryland.gov/dnr/2014/01/27 ... ate-lands/

I am currently reviewing the documents and the MD OHV Alliance will submit a response.

I was a member of the stakeholders group and participated in the closed meetings and, as many of you know, attended most of the public meetings.

Please send your comments to:

ADAM BOSSI
abossi@dnr.state.md.us

The plan documents are here.

http://www.dnr.state.md.us/land/Steward ... t_2014.asp

We will post our comments on the MD OHV Alliance website. From what I see so far, I'm reasonably please. Note that we have, for the very first time, OHVs mentioned in the State's trails plan!

More to come!

Yup - we are aware of it. I'm not expecting that to pass because the land is also included in the State's wildlands proposal. The wildlands designation does exactly the same thing.

but please keep posting things like that! everybody needs to watch for these and we might miss one.
