Dude that sucks.

I'd love to camp and ride, even for a price. But this "REQUIREMENTS TO RIDE:...You must show ... current AMA membership card. " is :bull:
YMMMV.

I figured it was only money and might as well enjoy it before it gets stolen or taxed away !

I do enough events that require AMA membership, I auto renew every year now.

For me, it's no different than having to register for USA Hockey in addition to registering for my hockey league. They provide insurance for the events.

An AMA membership is just part of the deal to ride. It is cheap enough that I don't sweat it. I probably wouldn't be a member if I didn't ride AMA events. But I do, so I am.

BTW, I ended up in C22. And this time I remembered to change the gearing on my 640. So hopefully y'all won't have to pick me up off the ground so many times.

I'm registered. I took the BMW offroad training in South Carolina on their BMW. Had a blast. I'll be skipping the hero sections.

Due to a lot of coming travel, I need to cancel.

Anyone want a ticket? I'll offer it here first for a few days the start posting elsewhere.

Sorry to hear that Ken. You will be missed.

On that note, does anybody want to share my campsite?

Did they expand the number of riders or is it just that many people can't go this year? The previous two years I went, I was put on the waiting list (but did make it in after a few days when reservations were released).

It doesn't matter; I'm expecting to have a great time like my previous years. I'm just surprised they're still pushing registrations two days before the deadline.
