Would like to spruce up my 2007 KTM motor before installing it in 2013 KTM for sale.

Anybody know of a bead blasting service - OR any other similar ideas near by?

I am going to sell a 2013 KTM 200 with a 2007 engine in it. SO the idea was to make the old engine look spiffy by bead blasting the outside of it (with it fully assembled except carb) to get rid of the stains and scratches, etc. The motor is realtively small and weighs 50 lbs.

I've got a cabinet that can handle that but I would be hesitant to beat blast an assembled engine. No matter how well you seal the engine the beads can find a way in. Also, any paint or coating will come off. You'll have a plain jane engine. All this said, if you still want to blast it you could do it on the 23rd after we ride the cove.

UH YES OFCOURSE :loveit:

My "2001" GL1800A has 2005 Frame, 2003 Motor, 2013 Forks, Billet Tripple Clamps, Traxxion Dynamics Suspension, Russel Day Long Seat, etc. etc. etc. (the full list is a page long) :loveit:

And you've seen my 300 Beta  The 80 Beta is similar  And the the WR250R Yamaha is moded similar to the GL1800 except all the big parts are still 2008

I'll definately think about what you said, BUT as of now, I think I want to take you up on your generous offer (and there will be some liquid THANKS) :lol2:
