I have a free day to ride this Saturday. I was thinking about the Cove. Who is with me?

I might be in for this but I'd have to leave by about 1 or 2. Let me check with DirtyGirl.....

If you can get to the office during the day this week so you can get a pass (probably pretty unlikely given the distance), at least a few of us are going to RAC on Saturday the 25th.

Looks like it might be time to take the spikes off the Gasser and throw some rubber back on to come play in the rocks.
Will know later in the week if I can swing a kitchen pass for saturday.
Bucho....go wake up Big Bird and have him bring the FrankenBeta out for a ride.

I appreciate the invite but I wasn't planning on getting a RAC permit this season.

I will be in the parking lot by 0830. I'd love to go do the RAC but I can't justify the $$ right now. It helps that the Cove is 20 minutes from where my DRz is....

It was a good day for riding. I'm sorry that nobody had a camera or helmet cam. I looped my bike on a hillclimb and broke my rear fender off. I rode my "bobber" KTM the rest of the day and only noticed it when I hit one of the few muddy spots and picked a horrible line. Deep goey mud and I was coated from my butt up to the top of my helmet.

Patrick sorry you had to leave early. Sam swapped out his KTM for the Beta and we went back out. We passed a couple of quads right before a "T" intersection. I started to go right and the quad guy told me I didn't want to go right b/c it was so hard he wouldn't even do it w/ his 4wheel drive quad. Since quads are gay, we decided it would be fine and we went for it. There were several rock sections that looked like they should be part of Erzburg. We made it, but a few parts required each other's help pushing/pulling. We were exhausted but happy to have survived. After that got onto a fun red trail but for some reason the red arrows started becoming fewer and fewer till we were lost on unmarked trails.

A great day for riding. I would go back again. Yes, there are rocks, but its not that bad.
