A couple years ago I had a dualsported TTR-125L. Was such a huge mistake to sell it.

Good one Ken-

I was looking for one for the boy. HE thinks the xr650l is a little big for a starter bike. I think a 125 or so that he can romp around on here would give him a good starting point. And maybe get the misses in on the fun- I know I am delusional.

I found a XR200 for 500.00 and also a TTR125L for 600.00. ???????????????????????

Any of those TTR-125L, XR100, CRF150, KLX140 ect... would work fine and are fun to ride, even more fun dualsported. Unless you can find cheap parts not sure its worth the money to get them to pass inspection. And its kind of a pain in the nuts to get MVA to give you a tag for them.

That said. I used to love to hop on my wife's pink and blue 125 and ride into downtown Frederick unleashing 9 horsepower of fury! I never had trouble parking in the bike rack at the library or up on the sidewalk like a scooter. My wife was a little timid and afraid of bigger/heavier bikes, she really liked the TTR and was able to learn to ride in the dirt and get her street license.

I have a 2004 GasGas 200 tagged in Pa. that I bought new in 2006 and I am asking $2500. I have used the bike for many dual sports and the last one was 7 Mountains in June. This bike has a large tank and is capable of over 80 miles in range. The suspension was done by WER and I have a boat load of spares.

This has been hands down the best woods weapon I have ever owned in my 45 years of riding and I will buy a new GasGas this winter. For information call Denny Mann @ 717-532-6439 or email denny.mann@us.army.mil
