2-3" depending on the waist size. My 40" waist tall Dakars are 3" longer and fit perfectly. My normal inseam is 34" and the "normal" pants are 33"

hmmm, well then i might take the 2 pairs of 36 off your hands doug.. let me know when i can stop by this weekend try them on.. i might need the 34 depending on how they are sized.. but then again, it might be the 36s for my fat ass.. haha..

btw, the pants tend to run large - at least mine did. I probably could have gotten a 38 and still have room with the adjustment straps.
