Officially Postponed
Due to the forecasted heavy rains scheduled to hit the mid-atlantic this weekend the Central Jersey Competition Riders have decided to postpone our HS event. We were ready and conditions were looking primo as of this past weekend but the rain in the forecast combined with the recent snow melt may create issues getting vehicles in and out of the property. With no guarnteed way to be able to pull out vehicles should the rain come as predicted, we feel this decision to be in the best interest of the Boyer Family, CJCR, the ECEA, and the riders.

We are curretly working with the ECEA HS comitee to lock in a new date of April 2-3, 2011 and will keep you informed.

More info to come very soon.

Thanks

Well! I would have never made it any way. It would be better to get some good riding in before going out and trying to keep up with fast guys.Oh well, Now no one can get mad at me for not going.

after a few hours riding and working at Eagle Bay, I am sooooo glad the hare scramble was canceled! :deal:

Shape is not a word that can be used whilst discussing my current physical conditioning :nono:

The new handle bars needed adjusting and I didn't discover that until 1/2 way into the short loop. :dirtdog:

The easy loop was more than enough for me for the first real off-road riding of the year :fitz:

yeah it would of been a mess, for march rides around here, its almost better for the ground to be frozen. Lets hope not April 2 but there arent many good dates left anyways.

the race went very well, a bit cold and wet on saturday for the kids but sunday was beautiful, a big thanks to the Boyers for all their hard work and for having us and Andy Tsakanikas for a killer layout/event. great traction a few muddy spots but the track was make-able everywhere without a lot of open high speed stuff, 30 min laps, good flow and great land, this place is a dirt bike riders dream.

pics of the nasty rock section, this was not in the "C" or "D", there are a couple other pics too
