Oh, interesting. I didn't realize they would be 30 minute laps. That's pretty cool. Is it typical for a single lap to take that long?

30 mins is a nice lap for 9 miles, they were actually a little under 30 but really it depends on the location and the club running it, for the enduro guys its skills over all out balls, anybody can pin a throttle and break a femur, we run a little tighter, more technical trail with good flow 2nd 3rd gear stuff 4th and 5th every now and then. keeping the speeds down, not doing any wacky marked turns or death starts hopefully reduces the damage and amount of crashes.
