Come out and enjoy a day of riding in scenic Southern PA. The ride will benefit Star Community, (http://www.starcommunityinc.org) a provider of individuals with varying disabilities a place to live, a charity close to the Burton Family. The challenging course will makes its way around the 350 acre farm with some nice wooded sections, open fields and maybe a stream crossing or 3. The course is approximately 3.5 miles in length. The kids, women and Super Senior classes will run on the front section of the course which is comprised of nice woods and open fields.

What is a Blind Enduro? Although this is a trail ride and not a race, we're throwing a little competition into the mix. You will take off on Loop 1 from a controlled start and ride at your own pace. Once the clock hits 45 minutes, we'll through the checkered flag and then record your total time you as you come across the finish line. We know what your time is but you won't. A little while later you'll go out for Loop 2 and do it all again just as you did in Loop 1. We will take the time difference between your first loop and your second loop. The person with the most consistent times is the winner. Of course we ask that you don't use time keeping of any sort.
No AMA cards are required, no tags, no special equipment!

This sounds very interesting, might have to do this instead of the railroad ride, that is assuming I can get a pass to go out at all.

With the KLX still out of service, I'm not going to make the rail ride, so I think I'll haul the ol' DT across the line for this instead.

"Just a heads-up about the upcoming charity event at Doc Burton's 80+ acre property in New Park, PA. We have a 3.2 mile loop of fresh trail with a mix of woods, rocks, corn field, stream crossings, etc. Fun for kids of all ages- the woods are fast and flowing and the stream sections should prove to be very technical.

We are trying to keep this a casual non-competitive event, but one twist is the "blind enduro" theme. Basically we record a rider's time as they complete each of their multi-lap "motos", then compare the two times. Finish order is determined by the riders having the smallest time difference. And by the way we will not post the first moto time, so you won't know what you're trying to match to. A true test of a rider's consistency. We do ask that their be no timekeeping please."
