Congrats!!! I'm gonna try getting my xr600 thru MD inspections soon. I bought the bike in PA & had a title, I already transfered title into MD . So I'm hoping the rest will be easy. Chainguard? I have a little plastic flap next to tire, does that count? what is the definition? pictures of all 4 sides? So if you put the flush mount LEDs on fender later, they can bust you?

depends on who you go see

JTs wanted a chain guard, he wasn't hard over on flush mounted lights

I used a bicycle chain guard

If Bucho had no problem getting MD to tag his 300 exc smoker you should have no problem with a 600 Honda.
As Ken said, I would pick where I go. No reason to make it harder than it has too.

Yeah, it doesn't hurt to go some place, (w/ your bike in truck/trailer), and just ask what exactly they are looking for.
I did get some extra slack w/ the 300. "Oh come on, I just want the street tag so I can do some enduros. I have no real intention to go street riding w/ it..."
That arguement probably works better when you have a two-stroke. Your XR600 would make a nice dualsport.
