IT help

Post by Laoch »

Hey smarter than me guys- I got a new monitor last night.
The resolution(?) is supposed to be 1366x768. My PC only goes to 1024x768.

So...everything is kinda stretched.

I downloaded a driver from the monitor web site, but it didn't do crap. I may have lost it, or not installed it. It didn't have an exe file, so I don't know what it was.

My XP is all up to date. Is it my graphics card; is it too old?

Basically - you are correct - if your option for your display don't got past 1024/768 - there isn't any easy way to get what you want... Keep in mind that XP is what 9 years old now, so you might not be able to get it past that level without NEW graphics drivers...
