That would be one reason why summitpoint is considered slippery compared to Beaver. Your tires stay clean compared to having to run in the dirt. The street has the best traction you just have all the dangers included.

I have ridden BeaveRun plenty of times with the dirt section, even raced with it a few times. No traction problems with the asphalt at BR, dirt or no dirt.
