Yeah, it was right where we thought it would be. Of course I drove up there only to realize I did not account for the fact that I was on the other side of the creek. With the water as high as it is there is no real stepping path across so I just sloshed across and got the feet wet...again
Fortunately the cover wasn't broken and just snapped back into place.
Ken and I went around the Watershed this afternoon. I was very dissappointed to find that they have already started grading up there. The section where I stopped to take pics of Wingfixer and Max going through a heavily eroded washed out section is all filled and smooth.
I'm hoping they don't do anymore.
BigBird and I went for a nice ride yesterday. We did some exploring. Probably would have been nice to have Maximus or Chasbo to keep us from ambling around on the pavement too much, but we made it and rode some nice twisty dirtroads.
Unfortunently, my camera was out of charge, and I didn't get any pics.
I have been dealing with a virus on my comp, so I have been afk. Sorry I missed your ride yesterday Bucho. I rode up in Micheaux and had a blast, but the watershed is still a favorite of mine. If I can sort the pc out this week, I will be able to stay in touch again (using a friends now). Glad you guys had a great ride. I am out there on the road at least.
