Ok, I did the Moonshine ride yesterday with the new clutch. It was only about 80 miles and the bike launches stronger, the creek crossings were a breeze and the bike is just pleasant to ride. :loveit:

Yo Bro - installed my Rekluse today - WOW

First thing you notice is the clutch feels way, way too light. You can move it easily with your little finger. I thought something was wrong at first.

Second thing you notice is it shifts easier!

Last observation, I could actually shift into neutral with the motor running - couldn't do that before!

My Husky became difficult to locate neutral at a standstill after several thousand miles. The aluminium clutch push rod becomes dimpled on both ends over time. A #4 SS washer superglued to the slave end of the rod rectified the problem. The clutch slave kept it located after reassembly.

Could someone explain to me what and how an auto clutch works?

It is like cheating.
The A/C simply takes the place of you working the clutch.
You can adjust how soon you want full lock up and other things.
No more stalling - you can ride a higher gear to help find traction.
In nasty stuff you can just crawl along - no stalling - no spinning.
IMHO, one of the best upgrades you can do to your bike.
Now you can pick from the EZ / Pro / Slipper. Each has its own advantages.

That is wild. I am still having a tough time getting my brain around that as a concept. So when the revs drop down, the clutch will slip on its own, like as if you were feathering it, keeping the motor from bogging down and stalling out?
