Only time dirty roads bother me is on the SS and the Paso, and that's because the riding position and clip ons. If I can ride Sumo style with the foot out it's all good, I don't mind sliding around a little if I can drag that foot a little bit. It's mostly mental.....
I think maybe what has helped most is sliding around on purpose, I've got a nice little oval track out on my property in Greensburg and it's slick as snot when wet and a hoot to ride around in circles on playing dirt tracker....
