If Bucho or anyone from the MD or VA area is going up and has room for another bike I'd appreciate a ride and would be happy to pay the gas bill and provide some after ride beverages, etc. I live just west of Frederick just off I-70 and US 40A but am flexible about where to meet as I'll have my new tag on the bike.

Please let me know if anyone has space available.

THANKS!
I have space available, but I am in Carlisle.

WELL the bozo that was revalving my shock shipped it to some customer in FLORIDA!

SO the bike won't be back togehter until Monday or Tuesday (when the shock arrives in Maryland) - so hopefully NEXT TIME!

Also, I just bought an 8' X5' Carry On landscape trailler on sale at LOWES for $488!
So next time I can offer someone else a ride!

DAMN fine day for a ride.

I rode 2 loops Sat, went to the trailhead Sunday morning with the crew, but ended up going home early. I was there when I think you guys with the big hauler were just leaving to go ride? About 9:30 or so. I saw a Husa, couple KTM's, a Husky.

Sat, we had about 17 of us and we were the only guys there except for 2 other groups of 2 we saw once. It was awesome riding, perfect conditions and I had a blast, but I did get arm pump pretty heavy. not so good for Tommy..........

he broke his shoulder .2 miles into his ride (on the downhill right after you exit parking), first ride of the season. Sucks, but he is in good spirits.

You guys done a DAMN fine job of clearing out the trail for us, thanks.
Sucks about your friend getting hurt. Not much soft ground to land on.
I was parked at the exit (Excursion / enclosed trailer), that would have been me on the Berg.
I did get to ride with a couple of your crew that made a run at the big hill at the bottom of Mitchel. They asked how hard it was, all I said was "I can make it" :harhar: About half turned around and the other half had a push fest to get to the top. I have a feeling they had no kind words for me after that climb. :knary:

yeah Tommy was about 15 feet in front of me and Chris when I saw him end swap three times and the third time he slammed left and I KNEW it was not gonna be good. Surreal watching someone else. The only good thing, he was .2 of a mile from the parking lot. Rung his bell pretty good too. He un-earthed a huge rock when he hit.

He sent me this...............
