DAMN broken foot

Post by Grady » Sun Jan 31, 2010 10:21 am

Looks like riding will be out of the question for the next several weeks. :frustrated: I injured it Wednesday night, and by Thursday evening it wasn't feeling any better and the swelling was worse, so I went to get some x-rays. I have to go see an orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday, so hopefully I'll have a little more info once the specialist looks at it. As of right now the foot's in a splint and I was just told to stay off it till I see the Orthopedic surgeon.

On the bright side, at least it's winter. As long as I'm healed by spring, I won't mind missing a few winter rides. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to the Birthday ride. :whoop:

Unfortunately I don't have a good story. It was just bad luck. I got into a little scuffle at the local watering hole. I guess I kicked the other guy a little harder than I thought and broke my own foot.
I guess on a positive note, at least thats the only damage I took. I can't honestly say the same for the other fellow, he was in rough shape.

Gotta be real careful when hitting people. Every other cop I know has broken a bone in their hand or sprained a wrist or something fighting some douchebag.

I hope you heal quickly.

OUCH!!!!!!!!

That looks painful and this is coming from somebody who has broken a LOT of bones :frustrated:

Hope you heal up fast Tony and in the mean time call if you need any help while on the mend! Take care of that and listen to your doc!
