I will be heading up to the ANF on the 18th of Sept. I will be pre-riding Sunday's event on Saturday plus doing a joy ride. I am inviting anyone who would like to join me on Saturday the 19th. Sunday is limited to 40 riders and that is the total for the two groups. We are having the day on the trail to demonstrate to the DCNR that ATVs and Dirt Bikes can share without conflict. The cost is free but each rider will need a trail pass. We are starting from the Rangers Station and passes can be purchased the day of the event. After our sit down session we will go to the trail head and ride in two separate groups to a remote lunch and discussion. Lunch will be free as well and after lunch is over we will trail ride back to the cars. We will show everyone highlights of the system as well as the quality of trail maintenance. The ride will be 30 miles in length and will last until 2:00. After that I plan on riding until Supper time. At the end I have the official agenda for Sunday at the Trail Summit. If anyone would like to join me on Monday or Tuesday you are welcome to do so.
This is a great place to ride in Pennsylvania and plenty of dirt roads connect the 4 riding areas. My favorite place to stay is Westline Inn.
