I would like to participate, but that will be my first time there and my bike (drz400) is not registered yet. Is it a public area or private - do I need a tagged bike to ride there?
Perhaps I can do it in a week, will try if it's necessary.
What is the address to meet other riders? And what time?
Is there anything to do for a family while i ride? :)
Sorry for noob questions, but i'm really new to dirt riding in US :)

Every day is a good day when you ride

Hey Nobody, you dont need a tag for the MotoCove. Its all private property. Pay your money at the door and ride all you want.
Depending on your skill level its a challenging place to ride. Its got some rocky sections. Make sure you have a skid plate and I wouldnt ride w/out hand guards (but some people do).
If it was the summertime there is a lake and little beach there your family could hang out at. I dont think there would be much for your family to do now. Not much else out there.

I've got too much life going on (dad in hospital) so I'm out. I hope to ride again one of these years.

Make sure Granville's rides are on you must-do list. Plenty of room for the family to do things or tour the area around Barton. It is a very family friendly event.Nobody wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2017 1:03 am I would like to participate, but that will be my first time there and my bike (drz400) is not registered yet. Re: Moto Cove Feb 24th, 25th or 26th
Thanks, sounds good to me, I plan to be there on 25th.
Looks like I will go alone, we don't have guns or winter swimming experience :D.
It's time to test bike carrier I bought recently :).
Granville's ride is demanding some skill level and I don't have a clue what is a "C" rider. Perhaps you guys will be able to tell me after the Cove :).
I'm not completely new to dirt riding, but also not really skilled, just recently started to try more than just riding forest roads. And unfortunately I've had a very few off-road rides last 2 years..
My bike has a skid plate and hand guards. It's DRZ400E 2007, so it is something between normal E model and S :D. Doesn't have a Keihin FCR carb though :(.
Watched a couple of videos about riding there, some places will be challenging for sure, but it looks like great fun! See you there!
P.S.Do you meet there or go ride one by one? If you meet, at what time or how can I find you?

There is a parking area that is pretty small where we met the one time I rode there. I'll be driving a silver Ford Escape. The plan would've be to meet at the parking area around 9am.
