I didn't have to saftey wire my KTM - but I never did the races - just the practices... I got a bonz one that was supereasy to put on... However, buddy of mine made his own outta PVC pipe... It looked like a pipe bomb on the side of his bike..
I bought 2 of the Supermoto Engineering catch cans - one for the KTM and one for the Wasp. I liked that they double as vent tubes.

The pavement was excellent when we did the Roger Lyle trackday. He ran two different configuration that day and dropping into bowl turn while feeling the g-force was a rush.
It's one of my favorite tracks on the sportbike, can't wait to try on the SM

For the Sunday practices, they probably want oil fill caps and drain plugs safety wired; dabbed with silicone at the very least.

I am pretty sure Wheeling Cycle Supply is putting on the Sunday practices. They sell catch cans (go figure :lol2: ) and can probably answer specific questions on what they will require.

I don't think there will be any tech for the mid week practices.

Sweet. You gotta try it on the kart track. I rode my DRZ on BeaveRun's big track (which is pretty small) once. It was kind of lost out there. Shenandoah should be better.
