A buddy of mine is looking at an '04 DRZ400S. The guy is asking $3k.

The guy who's selling says it's got about 20hrs on it, and has had the cams changed out. That's all I know.

If it appear to be in excellent shape then that is a reasonable deal on a good bike. However, DRZ S models are going pretty cheap these days.

Dirt ridden or street ridden? If it's street ridden, ask about the oil he uses. Hopefully, he's using a MC-specific oil.

$3k is a pretty decent deal -- neither smokin' great, nor abusively high, but definitely on the better side.
