Crap - I might have to be "out" -- my ortho doc prescribed a splint (to be worn 24/7 for at least a month) for tendonitis in my right wrist. I'll have to see what he says closer to the date.

One of these would take you about an hour to weld up. It would be pretty cool if you could make one for everyone on the ride. I would want mine to fit in a XL white collar Gap dress shirt too.

So what does this splint look like? Can't hold onto the 'bars with it on? I can remember casts and splints and braces being very supportive additions to my regular activities.

Well, technically, yes, the splint is VERY supportive. It's just impossible to turn the throttle with it on. I suppose I could do it with my fingertips.

Maybe if I just ride slow, it'll be OK.

I'm a maybe at this point. My new rear wheel is leaking, tubeless, so it is going back for fixing. Not sure if it will get here in time?

Directions: Route 219 south to Oakland. The first traffic light as you come into Oakland is for the Wal Mart shopping center. The very next left (at the Taco Bell) is 4th Street. Turn left onto 4th Street. Go approximately 1/2 mile and turn left onto Hill Street. My house is the big green house looming directly ahead.
