Looks like you had a really great time. Good choice bringing the bikes with you. My daughter, who you met, just graduated HS and my wife and 9 my daughter's friends rented a home out in Carova, about 8 miles down the drive out beach, for a week. There were a couple of incidents where a kid got their vehicle stuck but nothing disastrous. A good time was had by all.

I have a fond memory from about a 15 years ago when I taught my then 16 year old son how to do donuts on the beach in his Tacoma.

We rode thru “downtown Carova” while we were out exploring.

Clockwise, counter-clockwise donuts and bootlegger 180s. Just keep it out of the ocean. The lesson was situational awareness is even more important when you're acting like a hooligan. Words to live by!

Nice.

We are heading to Hatteras in a week or so. I'll look at the Carolla area for another trip.
