the DC law is unenforceable. The establishments won't enforce it and the city doesn't have enough people to go check.

Those of us who were born here all had to show proof of immunization (polio, etc) in order to be able to go to school, going back decades. Was it different where you grew up?

The Supreme Court has upheld vaccine mandates at the state/local level numerous times, going back to smallpox in 1905.

Small pox death rate was around 30%. Not the less than 0.05% of C19.
In 1905 Scotus was ruling on the constitutionality of a law passed by legislature. Not dictator like mandates.
