I see a couple options.
Primitive camping, at designated sites, is allowed gratis in Buchanan SF just north of the resort. Sites are numbered, email to SF office to be official and your good.
Also this joint—> http://www.hiddenspringscampground.com/
Doesn’t seem to bad. Again close proximity to the resort.

As Bill said lodging and route mods are up to the individual.

Just trying to help wrangle those camping and get a consensus...

Primitive camping in Buchanan SF works for me and will keep the group a bit closer together. I was hoping hidden springs would work out but they dont allow tents; they conveniently refer you to Rocky gap :wallbash:

Glad you guys brought this up now. Plenty of time for folks to figure out their options.

I’ll be camping and I’m good with camping anywhere. I’m sure all of you were concerned.

I submitted a motorized camping application to Buchanan SF to make the camping crowd a bit more legit. Requested site CV013 b/c apparently there's a stream nearby and shouldn't be too much of a detour (for those camping) away from the main route. Approx. 20-30 min away from rocky gap in the morning as well.

Anyways, that's where I'm gonna stay. Anyone who wants to join is welcome.

*UPDATE* Permit for CV008 received
