Not coming to the states. Clay tried to import them but an agreement with Yamaha does not allow import to the states.

BNG on a Yamaha, just buy a Yamaha

But this little clip of the article was interesting:
"Fantic’s timeline for new models has the XE300 scheduled for the 2023 model year. We can expect this to be based on the YZ250, but with a lot of re-tuning, not least the bigger bore – and the addition of an electric start. That’s a lot of work, which kind of accounts for the deferred launch date (Summer 2022)."

Now that is good stuff. Maybe just buy the motor, ECU, etc and drop it into a YZ 250 donor chassis and be your own importer.

How much you wanna bet, by 2023 Yamaha will have E-start on the YZ250 AND a 300---or they let Fantic import 300 smokers into US in Enduro trim. The US market is too large for Yamaha to make Fantic sit on this too long unless there is a plan to move onto a "Fantic" designed/built motor eventually. And then Yamaha would have what they need to make US models. If Yamaha or Honda would make a "real" competitive smoker with estart and enduro trim, KTM/Husq would not own the market (for the most part).

Or just purchase from outside the states and import. Just can not see it worth all the effort. What is a euro wild card is Ossa is still owned private and the government handed the funds to Gas Gas to help keep Ossa alive also....that did not happen. But they had a wild enduro bike in testing that used the reverse jug and exhaust was a work of art curled around under the seat area. So a FI 2 stroke with direct injection many years ago...so advanced for the time. Just think a smoker enduro with no more smashed pipes with direct injection.
And Yamaha puts out the same 20+ year old design but what do I know.....they sell.
