better fuel filter

Post by Firebolter »

Found these today while surfing around for all of you with fuel injected bikes with those weak ass Mahle plastic stock filters.

Rated for FI and 30 micron. Aluminum body so should work great I would think. Good price. ~14 bucks.

I use a tank sock deal filter thing. And the tiny little one at the connector. Where does this one go?

The stock Mahle 97 plastic filters are prone to splitting and causing a loss of fuel pressure. Some guys run the metal ones you can get from Auto parts stores but they are not really made for fuel injection and the ~50psi pressures, but these are. Something as simple as a shitty filter can ruin your day on a long ride.
