Nothing epic here, I did get another 90+ miles in on the Husky. Weather was warm. Brown on the ridges, I think it's from lack of rain.
It's a tinderbox ready to go.

Hunting season kicks off Saturday.
Most Sundays are good for me if anybody wants a, hopefully, cool weather DS ride.

I'll look forward to a few Sunday rides with you this fall Laoch. My XT is in the shop getting a top end rebuild. Valve seals and rings allowing oil to blow through the exhaust. Can't have that. As soon as I'm back on the trails I'll set something up.

I haven't been following this thread but wondered how the dirt roads are in Michaux theses days?

Many years ago (when I was riding my WR250R) Bucho and I did some rides there and there were some fairly "deteriorated" (rutted, pot holes, rocks, loose gravel, etc.) roads that were a little challenging to ride on. :>)
Then I went back a few years later and just about every road was in "good" shape (and thus not challenging unless you were doing 50+ MPH) - UGH!
Sam Jones - Frederick MD
GL1800 DCT TRIO Tilting Trike - KTM 525 EXC - KTM 200 XCW - 2 KTM Freeride 250Rs - TRS 300 Xtrack Trials
Lots of E-Bikes/MCs
Polaris RZR 800
Lots of MTBs and Road Bikes and a BamBuk Recumbant Tandem Trike eBike

The roads are in good shape. Great for a Forest road trip. Disappointing for dual or single track adventures.

There are still plenty of rough roads that make you pay attention
