Any suggestions to get the deformed, non pliable, used to be rubber boot back on? Heat with hair dryer or mircowave. Or replace it with? It's from the air intake side of carb.

Silicone grease to help it slip on & warm it up with a heat gun if its not ripped or cracked.
Or maybe place it in hot water for a bit.

I have a collection of the expanding pipe plugs that are handy to get the rubber expanded then heat gun to soften and install while warm....I heat as I expand, less odds of having old rubber fail. You could find that part from across the pond but the new part will be just as old as what you are working with. The Shercos with the air filter where the tanks are now had a 180 deg rubber connector like that and it was a miserable PIA but a pre heat and stretch minimized my swearing.

Thanks. Heat gun it is.
It was kinda hanging off and the carb to intake had some cracks. Dirt all up in carb. Once I get it together I'll see if I can make it run

+1 for the silicone treatment. I have used this on old weather stripping and trim on cars with pretty good success. Takes time though, a good application every day for a week or so and it will really soften up.

Boil it in water. It will heat it up and soften it at the same time. I used to do this on the old V4 Honda bikes when reinstalling carburetor boots. Silicone spray works as a good lube to get it back on, but I always preferred to use KY (store branded) instead. If it's safe on condoms, it's safe on a fragile rubber bike part.

How does this float bowl come off? I pulled the jet from inside. No screws outside.
