Beta 490RRS with motard set up (or just street rubber on dirt wheels) would be pretty awesome and match your Xtrainer nicely.

Yeah, one of the beta rr-s would be nice. I'm pretty sure I'm going to actually be sensible for once and send the money in to pay something non-bike related.

Check out the rear wheel. It is completely folded inwards.

You have insurance on a 10 year old bike
Or is the turd who rear ended you paying up?
My vote would be the 500RRS. Plenty-o-power. Just ditch the knobbies.

Maryland requires that all drivers carry insurance and I'm ok with that. I don't pay much. That said, the other guy was clearly at fault so there was never any question that his insurance would be paying up. The insurance company will be giving me about $6k for the totaled 10 year old bike (this doesn't include the medical side, just the bike). I paid $8600 out the door for the bike brand new at the end of 2009 (after honda incentives and a sale at the dealership).

Yeah, I'm glad you seem ok but you might want to get your head (re) examined after making that statement. :screwy:

C'mon now, I make poor decisions on my own all the time. I don't need encouragement.

I'm glad you're reasonably okay. Mend up, feel better soon.

I'm feeling pretty good now. I went to the gym on thursday and did some deadlifts plus I've been getting in my normal runs. So, I expect to complete the medical side of the claim next week. Considering that I literally got hit by a car I am feeling pretty good. I'm glad I wear my gear on or off the road...

I went by JT after lunch today just thinking I would check out the 690 Enduro, scoff at the price, and go home. Well, they had a slightly used 2017 with 17" wheels on it, just what I would want, sitting right near the door so I could hardly miss it. I have enjoyed my wr250x a bunch but wanted more motor. This is just about exactly that. Dang if I didn't put a deposit down:

Now I've got to sell the wr250x.
