Look on CL and find a TTR or KLX 140 or DR200 or something like that for a $ grand. Ride the piss out of it, replace some plastic and sell it for $1200 when you leave. :deal:
Lil fix.
Not working if I'm selling. I'm not good at it :lol2:

One girl wanted to come out and try to ride, but my bike is way too tall for her
She needs a bike to ride?
Exactly.
I have a ttr125 you could borrow. It's been sitting since my daughter started grad school a few years ago. I'm sure it needs the pilot jet cleaned out and the battery may be dead (but the kick starter works).

I don't think I'm going to be able to get out to the reunion so by borrow I mean you can stop by and pick it up on the way out... I can get the carb taken care of.

I may even get to show up with a new bike (from THIS century)... if I can get it prepped in time with hand guards and at least a quick prior ride to work out any kinks. Stay tuned and brace yourself for a new level of hilarity !!!

I love that KDX... and finally finished its restoration and have it running perfect!! But I am struggling with the 2-stroke power delivery in the woods. Too much chainsaw, not enough sewing machine.

So I grabbed a cheap 4 stroke 250 fuel injected bike now to compare. See if I feel any different on a mid sized thumper.

Wifey just says one of them will have to go bye-bye once this little experiment is concluded.

I think the kdx is hard to beat for just giving traction without wheelspin. I wonder what you'll discover...

The key here (according to Skinny-J/Wingfixer) is to just buy bikes that are the same color and never let her see 2 of them together at any time :killingme:

I like that idea. The problem for me is that my wife knows I currently have a 4 stroke and knows how a 2 stroke sounds....
