This is my first ds overnight trip. As such, changing my pack list a little. Adding tube repair kit, spoons, and bead buddy. Also, prolly a quart of oil. I hear these XR650L's like to burn some.

I'm hoping we will be cruising up US15 at a suitable DS speed (tops 65/70?)

This trip may be interesting in many ways- I don't have a lot of seat time on the bike, almost no gravel/off road seat time, I have no idea what to pack or how to pack it, GPS Image2: I've got an ancient 2610 that mostly works (download and follow a track  ). On a positive note I have family in Williamsport and points north- I have been up that road many times.

At least my bike is not in pieces. :deal:

Between the group we should have all breakdown/maintenance stuff covered. I just carry my AAA card, water and MRE

Speeds SHOULD be as fast as the slowest guy :deal:

Considering the mix of bikes, I guess speeds should be reasonable--Ken?

That said- I'm leaning towards blasting north early (0700-0800 ish) and seeing if you guys catch up to me, Plan B, which was plan A- I can't get out until noon- I'll link up Friday PM. I'm gonna take PA 74 north, then head east/North through Bald Eagle SF towards Lock Have, you guys should pop out in that area.

I suspect at times we may be two groups!
